Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be in Chennai on Saturday evening to inaugurate the Tamil Nadu government's new assembly cum secretariat complex.

It's a state-of-the-art green architecture in the heart of Chennai, built at a cost of Rs 450 crore, it is the first Assembly building in the world to be designed and constructed as a green building.
The assembly portion alone is ready now and it may take a few more months for the project to be completed.
