Tennis Ace Mahesh Bhupathi's estranged wife, model Shvetha Jaishankar has finally broken her silence. In the June issue of Savvy magazine, she has revealed how her disloyal husband cheated on her with Lara Dutta and that he started seeing Dutta while they were still married.

"I don't know when Mahesh met Lara Dutta but all I can say is that she was the client of our celebrity and sports management company and their relationship started while we were married," Jaishankar told Savvy magazine.

Spitting venom, Jaishankar claimed that Lara was not the first woman he was distracted by and said, "There were others and I have evidence, but who wants to get into the muddle now?"
Referring to their very-much-in-love public appearance at IIFA and the African Safari, she said, "I wish he was sensitive enough to wait till our divorce came through, before being seen around with her so publicly."

Incidentally, it was Jaishankar who initiated talks with Lara Dutta to bring her in as a client of their company. Jaishankar and Dutta also did shows together and were acquaintances.

Talk about the Leander -Mahesh issue, she poignantly tells the mag, "I always felt this was a sensitive topic for him, so I never really asked him much but recently he made a comment saying: "You know I am going to play with Sania and the day Sania and I win a Grand Slam, the world will forget Leander." I wondered where this arrogance came from."
